While the boundary markers for variables are by default '[' and ']', you can change them to any other character(s). 2 characters max.
IDB Path: The individual data records are, by default, stored in the folder "IDBs", but you can change the location. Use the navigator shown at the right to reset. (Use the 'Set folder as...' dropdown)
Boilerplate Text: Your Boilerplate files are, by default, stored in the folder "Boilerplate", but you can change the location. Use the navigator shown at the right to reset. (Use the 'Set folder as...' dropdown)
Alias *Lists*: By default, your 'alias' terms, and their corresponding lists of choices, are stored in the IDBs folder in a file called "multichoice.csv". You can change the file (both as to location and name). Use the navigator shown at the right to reset. (Use the 'Set file as...' dropdown)
Double Click action. By default, a double click on a document will open the original of a document for editing, and when your system is new and you are frequently adding and editing your text, this is your likely preference. But once your system matures, you may wish to open your documents not for editing but for processing, and avoid the risk that you will accidentally overwrite the original document. In such case, select the Open a copy of the document as the action for a double click
Default Folders: Pathagoras sets certain 'default' folders to contain your boilerplate text, your Instant Database records, your alias lists, and the like. You can repoint these settings if you wish.
