Margin assembly:
If you have a book of clauses that are named following the
Prefix/Suffix Naming Convention, you can assemble a selection of
those clauses by typing just the suffixes down the left side of the
editing screen.
After typing your suffix list, on the immediately next line, type
the prefix.
Follow that by a 'dot' and the word 'list'.
Lastly, press <Alt-G>. Pathagoras
will append the prefix to each of the suffixes and assemble the
document in the order of the clauses that you typed. This is a
really cool function.
Here is an example of what a margin assembly list would look
like (but see the
References at the left for more
information and examples):

wil.list

(You can actually copy and paste the above sample text into a
Word document and try it yourself. The default installation setup
for Pathagoras links the 'wil'
prefix to the appropriate folder containing the will clauses.)
"But," you say, "I don't know by heart the names of the
clauses I want! How am I supposed to create the list in the first
place?"
Not a problem. Just print out a
checklist
of the
clauses and their subjects. Just go down the list to identify the
ones you need.
And lastly, "How can I rename the documents I have to ones
bearing a prefix/suffix name? Piece of cake. Just follow the steps
outlined in the
Pathagoras Help Manual. Click the reference link at the left called "Names & Subjects
Editor".
