GotForms? (Alt-S)
There is more than one way to replace variables in a document. The
most common way is using the Instant Database screen ("Alt-D"). But
if you want something 'down and dirty' and don't need to save the
variable to personal data relationships into a personal data record,
consider
GotForms?
GotForms? is activated by pressing 'Alt-S'
from the keyboard. GotForms? will quickly locate and present one at
a time each document variable it finds. And a variable is (just like
in Instant Database) bracketed text or (unlike Instant
Database) underscores (i.e., "____________"). Yes,
underscores! Pathagoras recognizes them as automated variables as
well.
GotForms? is so named because if you have
a form that contains variables represented by bracketed text or
underscores or both, then you have
GotForms!
