Quick Parts: Deleting/Replacing

If you save a Quick Part to the identical template, category and name as an existing Quick Part, it will be overwritten (i.e., replaced).

Miss any on of the elements and you will add to your collection, perhaps unintentionally so.

If you need to delete items from your quick parts gallery, first print out your quick parts of gallery listing. Then highlight the clauses that you want to delete. Press the red delete button it is incredibly simple incredibly effective.To delete, simply highlight the block of items you want to delete. Note:

 The block must be contiguous. You cannot select individual non-contiguous lines. (You can select a single line.)

 You can only work on one table at a time.

To replace and existing Quick Part with an updated one, it is probably easier to replace the whole table. (Since the process is highly automated, this is faster than taking the time to isolate a single item to upgrade.) Just make the correction/update in the appropriate cell(s) and then follow the 'Add by Table' steps.
