Easy As Pi MultiChoice Lists

You can create a MultiChoice list from a variety of simple setups. Here are the main ones:

From plain text: John Q. Adams/Thomas Jefferson/Abraham Lincoln/Richard M. Nixon/Gerald R. Ford/William J. Clinton
oJust separate the choices with slashes.
oWhen you are ready to add your list to the MultiChoice system, highlight the block of text containing the list and then click on the MultiChoice item in Pathagoras features dropdown (Authoring/Editing tools). Click the 'Insert Prepared List' from the choices. Then click Next. Pathagoras will ask what alias you want to assign to the list. Provide a one or two word alias. Pathagoras does the rest.

 

From a column of text:

oType each entry into a separate row of the table

Click on the MultiChoice item in Pathagoras features dropdown (Authoring/Editing tools). Click the 'Insert Prepared List' from the choices. Then click Next. Pathagoras will ask what alias you want to assign to the list. Provide a one or two word alias. Pathagoras does the rest.
From a two column table.

   Place the 'alias' you want to use in the left column and the MultiChoices (separated by slashes) at the right. Here is an example

When you are ready to add your list to the MultiChoice system, highlight the table or place your cursor inside the table. Click on the MultiChoice item in Pathagoras features dropdown (Authoring/Editing tools). Click the 'Insert Prepared List' from the choices. Then click Next. Pathagoras will create an entry for each alias and the associated choices.
