"Once you have associated a folder to a DropDown List, Pathagoras handles all future navigation for you. |
This tool is also really 'cool'. It really does the exact same thing as happened in the previous pages, but it is more automatic. Unlike the others, it assumes that the folder into which you wish to save the new clause is a Pathagoras DropDown List now showing in the menu area of your screen.
1.Highlight the text you want to save.
2.Click down the appropriate DropDown List.
3.From the expanded screen, click the 'Save Doc to Folder' element.
4.
5.Pathagoras will propose a name. Accept or edit it.
6.Press the green Add Term button.
Pathagoras quickly saves the text to the folder represented by the DropDown List. This simple act has (1) copied and (2) pasted the desired text to a (3) new document and (4) saved that new document, properly named to the folder to which the Drop Down Lists in the blink of an eye. It has also (5) added a new entry to the DropDown List. The next time you display the List, it will be there.
(BONUS: If the folder to which the DropDown List points happens also to be a Book in one of your Document Assembly Libraries, the newly added document will also appear when you click on the Book. Why -- because the newly added document is just a new document. Nothing more, nothing less.)
