There is no 'best way.' Here are 3 to consider.

  • If the text you want to save is the entirety of the document you have 'on-screen,' just click SaveAs and navigate to the folder that equals the book. Pathagoras can do the navigating for you. Click the Document Assembly button, click the book and select the 'Save document to folder' option. When you click next, pthagoras wil open the folder. Name the document. Done.
  • If you want to save just a portion of the on-screen document, highlight the part you want to save.
    • Press Alt-G which will call up the TermWorks screen.
    • Provide a name and (optionally) a subject .
    • Select the location (typically a book but if not book has been assigned use the SaveAs function and navigate to the save location.
    • If you want to add a Subject to the document (imperative if you are using the prefix/suffix naming style, add it where indicated on the screen.
  • If the target location of the document you want to save is a 'book' or a DropDown List, Pathagoras offer two incredible tools to add text to those locations.
    • First, highlight the text you want to save.
    • If you want to save to a book, click the document assembly button, click the book and then select the 'Save Text to Book' option at the right.
    • It you want to save to a DropDown List, click down the List and select the "Save Text to Book" item in the List.
