Pathagoras Tip of the Week

Time Saver

Double click = 'Open Folder':
Let's say you are displaying a Pathagoras screen which contains a text box which shows a DOS path to a folder. (A DOS path is the full name of the Windows folder in which documents and other files are being stored. It typically looks like this: "C:\my documents\office forms\general" or like this: "\\server1\zdrive\office forms".)

Let's further say that you want to view the files in the referenced folder. You can do so simply by double-clicking inside the box. Pathagoras will instantly display the target folder.

There are dozens of locations where these text boxes will appear. For example, each box in the Settings screen for the Document Assembly and PathSmart modules; the 'File Locations' tab in the Utilities/Settings screen, etc.
