If you should want (or need) to send a whole folder of documents to a recipient as
a single PDF file, Pathagoras can help.
You don't need to convert each document into a separate PDF file.
You can assemble all (or selected) documents into one large
document and then convert the whole into PDF.
(
Note: Pathagoras doesn't provide the
engine which actually converts your text to PDF. Most users already have PDF
converters from other vendors. Word2007 users -- the converter is
built into Word. What Pathagoras offers is a particularly
easy way to pour a folder's-worth of documents into a single
document.)
Two methods:
- If the folder containing the desired documents has
been mapped as one of your books, simply select the
appropriate book to display the desired documents onto
the Clause Selection Screen. Select all
(or an appropriate selection of) the documents for
assembly into one
large document. Edit the assembled document as
appropriate. Then convert to PDF.
- If the folder containing the desired document has
not been mapped as a book, you can create
a
Clause Selection Screen 'freestyle.' From the Document
Assembly (Libraries & Books) screen, click the
'Freestyle' option button at the bottom of that screen.
Follow the prompts and navigate to the appropriate
folder. The documents in the folder will be transferred
to a Clause Selection Screen. Assemble all (or an
appropriate selection of) the documents into one large
document. Edit as appropriate. Then convert to PDF.
