DropDown Lists (refine selection)Create
a DropDown List from a Clause Selection Screen:
In an earlier tip, we showed you how to create a Clause Selection
Screen from a DropDown List. You can also create a DropDown List
from a Clause Selection Screen.
"Why would I want to do that?" you might ask.
Well, a DropDown List typically contains the contents of an entire
book (folder or glossary). That can be dozens, even hundreds of
clauses. That many be too many for your purposes. Let's say you want
your DropDown List to contain only the 10 most used letters,
forms, clause-sets, whatever, contained in the book.
Do this: Display the book's contents onto a standard
Clause Selection Screen. Select from the left panel those entries
that you want to appear in the DropDown List and move them to the
right panel. When done, select the DropDown List option from the
choices at the far right side of the screen. Click 'Next'. That's it!
